Aber ich wollte nicht warten bis ich zu Hause bin. Kommst du in ca. 2 Stunden vorbei? Dann kann ich mich vorher noch schnell duschen und umziehen, aber dann will ich dir unbedingt zeigen was ich alles mitgebracht habe! One week later... DeeDee: Vanina? It's me, DeeDee! I'm back! The battery of my cell phone is empty, so I call you shortly from a phone box. I couldn't wait till I arrive at home. Would you come to me in 2 hours? So I have time to take a short shower and to change clothes, but then, without fail, I wana show you what I bring with me!

DeeDee hat sich frisch gemacht und ihr geliebtes afrikanisches Kleid angezogen und sitzt nun gemütlich mit Vanina im Wohnzimmer. Sie war froh zu hören, dass Vaninas Ausschlag geheilt ist.

DeeDee is freshed up, wears her beloved african gown and is sitting in her living room toghether with Vanina. She was so glad to hear, that Vaninas rush is cured.

DeeDee: Sieh mal was ich alles mitgebracht habe, Vanina! Dieses weiche taupefarbene Leder ist für dich und auch der weisse und der schwarze halbtransparente Stoff. Ich bin ja schon gespannt, was du daraus machst! Die Kork-Pinnwand ist auch für dich, ebenso die Stecknadeln. Die Tatoos schenke ich Blanca, die kann sie in ihrem Studio bestimmt gut gebrauchen. Vanina: Die Pinwand häng ich im Atelier auf, da kann ich Ansichtskarten und Skizzen aufhängen. Die hübsche silberne Dose mit den Stecknadeln ist einfach genial! DeeDee: Ist die Tasche die Elaine mir gehäkelt hat nicht toll?! Ich bin fast ausgeflippt vor Begeisterung! Ob ich den Kalender selber behalte oder verschenke weiss ich noch nicht. DeeDee: Look what I all brought, Vanina! This soft leather is for you and so the white and black semitransparent fabrics. I can't wait to see what you will sew from them. The cork pinboard is for you too, and even the pins. The Tatoos I'll give to Blanca. I'm sure, she can use them well in her studio. Vanina: I'll hang up the pinboard in my studio, so I can put my postcards and sketches there. The silver pin box is so great! DeeDee: Isn't the bag Elaine crocheted for me fantastic?! I was so thrilled! I don't know yet if I get the calender for me or if I give it away.

DeeDee: Diese hübsche Pflanze hat mir Elaine auch noch geschenkt. Und dann hab ich verschiedene Spielsachen für Laurens Kinder mitgebracht. Euros hab ich auch noch übrig, wenn du willst geb ich sie dir, in deinen Ferien kannst du die bestimmt auch gebrauchen. Vanina: Oh, ja gerne! Das Bärchen find ich total süss! DeeDee: This pretty plant was an other gift from Elaine. And I brought various toys for Laurens children. I also have left over Euros, if you can use them for your holidays you can take them. Vanina: Oh, yes, thank you! The little bear is so cute!
